| Weathered 4 years - they turn a silver grey |
|
|
| No maintenance |
This is a set of chairs and a table made from logs of teak. I have had these pieces sitting outside over
the last 4 years and they have weathered to a beautiful silver color and have held up nicely over the winter and summer near
our pond. We live in the Athens, Georgia area and have some freezing and 50 inches of rain fall a year. Also you
see a bench that is waiting to be put into place. The teak we use is from old carts from Thailand, Burma, and Laos
This type of furniture may not be available too much longer because so many of the carts have been already used in the manufacture
of this furniture. The last time I bought furniture the prices had risen over 15% from 5 months earlier. . The
prices range from $255 to $290 per chair. The table was $345.00 and the bench similar to the one you see
would be just under $500.00. You must add shipping to these prices.
